ABOUT ME
I have a dual appointment at the University of Missouri as an Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Science and State Specialist in Gerontology for the College of Human Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension. My research agenda draws from multiple perspectives in family science, sociology, gerontology, and gender studies. I am deeply passionate about conducting translatable research to help older adults and their families age well physically, socially, and emotionally. My research focuses on repartnering in later life and understanding how these relationships relate to health and wellbeing for individuals and families.
